Loro Piana's double wool is an exquisite blend of craftsmanship and innovation created by joining two layers of very fine fabric together on a specially engineered loom. This process reveals a lightweight, reversible fabric with two beautifully finished sides, perfect for crafting supremely soft, sculptural silhouettes.
Constructing a double-face garment is a labor of love. Seams are carefully opened with a special blade and sewn back together entirely by hand. This technique demands the highest quality fabric and intricate handwork. Although time-consuming, the result is a clean, lightweight garment with a luxurious unlined interior.
